Über die Rolle

The enterprise is a leading international telecommunications vendor, providing innovative solutions for voice and core network services. Join the international Core Network team (10 members) and take on a vendor-facing role, supporting major mobile network operators in Austria in the operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of their Voice Core and IMS environments.

Deine Aufgaben

• Vendor Interface & Technical Support: Act as the technical representative for telecom operators and coordinate with internal Level 3 / R&D teams for issue resolution.

• Voice Core Operations & Maintenance: Operate and maintain IMS and voice core elements (e.g., CSCF, HSS/UDM, SBC, MGW, TAS) including VoLTE/VoNR services in virtualized environments.

• Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve voice service issues (e.g., SIP signaling, call setup failures, interconnect issues) to ensure high service availability.

• Signaling & Interconnect Analysis: Analyze SIP and legacy signaling (SS7/MAP/ISUP) and support roaming as well as inter-operator voice connectivity.

• Change Management & Service Quality: Perform system upgrades and configuration changes while monitoring KPIs and improving overall voice service performance.

Dein Profil

• Education & Experience: Degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in mobile core network environments.

• Packet Core Expertise: Solid knowledge of EPC and/or 5G Core technologies (e.g., MME, SGW/PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, PCRF/PCF, ePDG).

• Protocols & Troubleshooting: Strong understanding of telecom protocols (GTP, Diameter, TCP/IP) and experience in troubleshooting mobile data services.

• Linux & Cloud Fundamentals: Familiarity with Linux systems and exposure to virtualization or cloud-native environments.

• Communication & Ownership: Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, proactive approach, and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.

Gehaltsspanne & Benefits

Unser Kunde bietet Ihnen ein monatliches Bruttogehalt von € 3.000,- bis € 5.000,- (14 x p.a. bezahlt), je nach konkreter Qualifikation und beruflicher Vorerfahrung.
