Company Description

As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, we work together with our more than 500 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade. The main focus of Central Use Experience is the development and optimization of RIAG's internal systems. The areas of  responsibility are diverse, including applications and services in the areas of merchandise management, logistics, data  management and many other key topics. We develop user-centered applications, lead workshops, examine and research our concepts using wireframes and  prototypes and pay attention to user and stakeholder oriented communication for the user experience in the product  development of the RIAG systems.
We are looking for an experienced UX Manager with outstanding organizational and consulting skills to support our product teams in creating outstanding digital user experiences. As a UX Manager, you are the key player in increasing the efficiency of our UX operations, optimizing internal processes and acting as a consultant.

Job Description
  • Define user-centric requirements for the REWE product landscape and its services.
  • Develop detailed scenarios for user interaction with products and processes.
  • Conduct research on user journeys, including fit-gap analysis and solution concept development.
  • Plan and create roadmaps for product enablement.
  • Interpret analysis materials, conduct user surveys and tests, and provide support for business process transformation  and process analysis.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment.
  • Design information architectures to optimize user experience.
  • Develop a target strategy for an Omni-Channel experience.
  • Conceptualize coherence in user experience across system landscapes, both brand-specific and cross-country.
  • Demonstrate expertise in personalization of user experiences, particularly regarding user preferences and  contextualization.
  • Implement real-time feedback mechanisms and integrate UX aspects not only at the surface level but also within  underlying processes, data structures, and technologies.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration between International and Germany trade sectors.
  • Expertise in design system considering specific multibrand requirements.
  • Unify different design systems considering components, processes, and organizational acceptance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or equivalent  practical experience.
  • Proven experience in user-centric product development, including user research, scenario development, and solution  conceptualisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management and conducting interviews to gather requirements effectively.
  • Experience with information architecture design and implementing Omni-Channel strategies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly (ÖN) ISO 9241-171 and WZG.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Fluency in English and German preferred
